¡¡¡¡From Jun. 21st to 22nd, 2007, ¡°Open Source China, Open Source World 2007: Open Source Movement and China Information Industry Development Summit Forum¡± was held in Guangzhou. This forum is a high level conference organized jointly by China Open Source Software (OSS), and Guangdong Linux Application Software Work Collaboration Conference. The forum¡¯s tenet was ¡°Promotion, Share, Exchange, and Cooperation¡±; the conference¡¯s form is through expert forums, round-table conferences, and application solution exchanges¡±. The objectives of the forum are to explore and discuss open source movement development¡¯s frontier issues, conduct international and domestic cooperation exchanges, and expand application markets. The summit gathered international open source leaders, global IT multinational corporations¡¯ management, and China domestic open source representatives, etc. which was titled an ¡°elites conference¡± in global source open industry.

¡¡¡¡General Manager Hu Caiyong, Deputy General Manger Do. Jin Youbing, Open Source Technology Director Mr. Cheng Xiuzhi of Redflag 2000 and the company¡¯s open source technical team attended this summit, and made a topic speech. Both Mr. Hu and Dr. Jin Youbing explained business entrepreneurs and open source community¡¯s cohabitation principles from the perspective of reality, as well as how to make open source community-based independent innovation.
