Global OOo Community Principal Mr. Louis Suárez-Potts Visited CSIP

　　May 16th, 2007, morning, accompanied by Redflag 2000’s Executive Deputy General Manager Ms. Xiao Ruomei, Global OffenOffice.org community principal, Mr. Louis Suárez-Potts, SUN Inc.’s OpenOffice.org project supervisor, Mr. Michael Bemmer visited China Software and Integration Circuit Promotion Center (CSIP)of Ministry of Information, and held deep discussion with Software Public Service Department, CSIP, Deputy Director Dr. Zhou Haiyan, Dr. Wu Xugang, Dr. Wang Maosong on different items of cooperation.
　　　　　　
　　Dr. Wang Xugang from CSIP firstly introduced CSIP’s business scope. Mr. Louis made description and analysis on OffenOffice.org community’s development to persons present at discussion, and made suggestion that they would conduct cooperation with CSIP on international talent communication and QA project. The two parties expressed the opinion that through the above mentioned projects’ cooperation, they would promote China open source software business’s development, and improve China open source software’s research and development level, so as to make China open source software business integrate into international open source software’s great wave, and improve gradually China software independent innovation level.
